James Bond Car Exhibition 2012
Nothing has defined the James Bond franchise – the film franchise, that is – in quite the same way as its cars. So what better way than to have the biggest James Bond car exhibition – in the world – to celebrate fifty years of James Bond films? Lexus is livening up its IS 350C with the introduction of the F-Sport Special Edition model. With accessories taken from the Lexus F-Sport parts catalog, the limited-edition offers open-air driving enthusiasts a better-handling and more aggressive-looking IS C right off the showroom floor. Building off the 306-hp IS 350C, Lexus installs Bilstein-developed shocks, shorter springs, thicker antiroll bars and newly styled 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Chevrolet plans to launch a family van soon in several global regions, GM Vice Chairman Tom Stephens said Tuesday in showing analysts GM's future product plans. General Motors will base the van on its global compact-car architecture, said Stephens, who heads product development. He showed a picture of the van to analysts at a company presentation Tuesday, but his slides were not made available to members of the media.
